JBS Children's Services is growing and has immediate availability for positions in the new Children's Mobile Crisis Response Team unit! Positions include Team Leaders, Team Members, Phone Triage Staff, and Low Intensive Care Coordination. This unit will work with children involved with Jefferson County DHR to de-escalate crisis situations, and assist with maintaining placement. August 31, 2022, is International Overdose Awareness Day, and we pause to honor those who have died from an overdose and to reflect on the grief of those they left behind. Many continue to live with the stigma associated with having a close family or friend die from an overdose.

What is the Alabama COVID Response Unit?
ACRU is a unit based out of the Jefferson-Blount-St. Clair Mental Health Authority and we are seeking to provide outpatient mental health services to those who have been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Would I qualify for services? -We offer services to those who are 18 or older and who live in the state of Alabama. -Many people will qualify for services, call or email us today to find out how we can help you.
How much would it cost? -This is a grant funded service. So, for those that qualify, it is a free counseling service.
