Please help us welcome SrA Kaitlyn Sands to the 117th Air Refueling Wing in the Alabama Air National Guard. SrA Sands is a Medical Technician coming to us from Active Duty Air Force via the Palace Front program.

The Palace Front program is when the active duty Air Force member serves all the way to the end of their active duty service commitment, and then transitions to the Air National Guard. Palace Front ensures there is no break in service and the member can continue serving in the Guard with minimal transition. This allows SrA Sands to continue serving while also pursuing her Nursing degree.
