We believe Black communities have something to say.

The problems Black people face are complex, but our solutions are bold: rooted in innovation, driven by community, and powered by us.

Through the Black Census Project, the largest survey of Black people in America, we’re transforming our voices into the policies and representation we deserve.

Join us. Add your voice. Help build Black power. Take the Black Census. https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8759608/BFL

After a major Supreme Court ruling, state-level voting rights acts and redistricting strategies in Democratic-led states are among the limited ways left for protecting racial-minority voters' power.

Our clean water is at risk. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has started to further limit which waters are protected by the Clean Water Act, putting many important streams and wetlands at risk. This is a giveaway to developers and corporate polluters, who have been trying to weaken the Clean Water Act for years.

The administration will be opening a comment period soon on its final "Waters of the United States" Rule. We must speak up and tell the EPA that we need to strengthen, not weaken, protections for clean water. Send your comment now.

What would Alabama look like without pollinators?

From the foods we eat to the flowers we enjoy, pollinators play a vital role in our everyday lives. Join Alabama Extension's Home Horticulture team for Pollinator Partners Certification Training and learn how to identify Alabama's native pollinators, create welcoming habitats, and support healthy pollinator populations in your community.

Small changes can make a big difference for bees, butterflies, moths, and other beneficial insects. Become a Certified Pollinator Partner and help protect the pollinators that help keep Alabama growing.
