Connecting Creative Communities
Connecting Creative Communities is a collaborative venture of Eastlake United Methodist Church developed to create community linkages throughout the Eastlake area. CCCs mission is to offer substance abuse education and recovery support to individuals and community organizations to enhance their effectiveness in encouraging and building leaders, strengthen the capacity and growth of their organizations and consumers and support recovery efforts of individuals and groups. Designed to create community connections, CCC works collectively with other human service organizations to create a level of care that responds to 6 key elements that improve the quality of life for the recovering community

The CCC Resource Center is a nontraditional recovery center, there are no therapists or psychiatrists on staff. The staff is comprised of one Program Director and 3 volunteer recovery coaches or peer specialist. The program includes peer support, small groups and seminars, socialization activities and life skill building. Opportunities for job and educational training are also available through partners in the collective. The services are free for the participants
