You may know Workshops Empowerment Inc. as a service provider for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, but did you know we also help individuals throughout the greater Birmingham area overcome barriers to employment and discover meaningful career opportunities?
Our Empower Horizons program is designed for individuals with unique learning needs or limited work experience who are ready to explore their potential. Through hands-on training, skill development, and real-world work experiences, participants build the confidence, independence, and workplace skills needed for successful employment and community engagement.
One of the most exciting parts of the program is the opportunity to participate in an externship, where participants step out of the classroom and into a real work environment to gain valuable experience, discover their strengths, and explore potential career paths. (Check out the video below!)
