Well, well, well… THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! 🎉

Please help us welcome and celebrate Cohort 7 of the Monica Roberts Freedom School! We are preparing for another beautiful journey as we continue empowering trans leaders from across the United States to mobilize their power, strengthen their voices, and develop their personal and professional leadership. The Monica Roberts Freedom School is an interactive learning environment designed to challenge, inspire, connect, and prepare our student leaders to make an even greater impact in their communities. This year’s selection process was extremely competitive, and we are proud to introduce our TOP 20 student leaders selected from nearly 70 applications! Please stop by and congratulate Cohort 7 as they prepare to begin this incredible journey! ❤️

Our oldest National Transgender Awareness Week Ambassador, Teryl Lynn Foxx , is not only making history with TAKE Resource Center; she is also celebrating an incredible milestone: RETIREMENT after 20 years of dedicated service at Lowe’s! 🎉👏🏾
This moment is absolutely beautiful. When we think about the challenges Black trans women have historically faced simply trying to live, thrive, and grow older, Teryl-Lynn’s journey deserves to be celebrated LOUDLY. She continued to beat the odds, show up, serve the public, and make a difference in her community; one smile at a time. Teryl-Lynn, we are giving you your flowers while you are here to receive them! 🌹 Congratulations on 20 years of service and your retirement. Kudos to you, Queen!.We can’t wait to honor and celebrate you again this November during National Transgender Awareness Week!
