Members of the BI Sales team recently headed to St. Charles, Missouri, for hands-on training with Falkbuilt Ltd. at its HQ Design Studio.

From digging deeper into Falkbuilt’s Digital Component Construction approach to exploring product capabilities firsthand, the trip gave our team a closer look at the solutions, processes and possibilities behind the Falkbuilt system.

Building on BI’s established portfolio of Falkbuilt installations, the training was a great opportunity to sharpen our expertise, exchange ideas with other Falk partners and continue expanding the ways we can support our clients and project partners.

Last week, our Client Services | Support team came together for the 2026 CSS Conference. The CSS team, joined by members of the BI Accounting team, spent a few days learning, connecting and taking a closer look at the many ways we can continue to elevate the experience for our clients and for one another.

Along the way, we were fortunate to learn from two people who spend a great deal of time thinking about what makes an experience meaningful: Pete Blank, leadership expert, author and national speaker, and Beth Rocker, Vice President of Patient Experience at Children’s of Alabama. Thank you both for spending time with our team, sharing your experiences and challenging us to think differently about leadership, communication and the moments that shape an experience.

Thank you as well to our friends at Gresham Smith for hosting us on Thursday and giving our team a great place to learn and connect.

On Friday, we took the conversation from the conference room into the field. At BI’s 65,000-square-foot Birmingham warehouse, Donde Bibbs and Sam Sullivan led the team through the processes behind receiving, staging and preparing products for installation—an important reminder that the client experience is shaped long before anyone walks into a finished space.

We closed out the conference with a visit to the recently completed Consolidated Pipe & Supply headquarters, seeing firsthand the end result of that process in a project we were proud to work on alongside the Consolidated Pipe team and TURNERBATSON.

From the first conversation to the final installation, every detail and every interaction matters. For our CSS team, that’s what it means to Elevate the Experience.

This month, we recognize and celebrate the work of Stephen Bazzano, a Field Services | Project Manager whose experience, reliability, and steady communication help keep projects moving forward in the field.

Since joining Business Interiors in 1998, Stephen has built nearly three decades of experience supporting job sites, checking progress, preparing for upcoming work, and helping make sure crews have the materials and information they need. His role requires responsibility, follow-through, and the ability to solve problems as they arise—often before others ever see them.

Across many projects and many years, Stephen has helped support the field side of BI’s work with a consistent focus on communication, coordination, and customer satisfaction. His experience and willingness to keep things moving make him a valuable part of the team and an important contributor to successful project ex*****on..

Pensacola has a new BI showroom. 🌴✨

Our recently completed space gives us a new place to meet with clients, explore ideas, and gather along the Florida coast.

When we found the space overlooking the marina, the view was an easy sell. The old-school office interior we inherited, however, needed to be torn out and rebuilt from scratch...

Designed by Gresham Smith, the space has been transformed into a full MillerKnoll showroom, with open workstations, private offices, meeting rooms, and casual gathering areas throughout. Falkbuilt Ltd. and ALUR Walls solutions are also incorporated into the space. Biggs Construction Company, Inc. was the general contractor.

More than a place to see products, the showroom gives clients a chance to experience different settings and solutions in use—and gives our team a great environment for project conversations, working sessions, and events.

Coastal blues, natural finishes, bold wall graphics, and a balcony overlooking the marina give the entire space a distinctly Pensacola feel. 🌊☀️

This month, we recognize and celebrate the work of Shannon Matthews, a Client Services | Support team member whose experience, attention to detail, and quiet warmth help keep projects moving forward.

With nearly 13 years at Business Interiors, Shannon plays an important role in supporting projects from order entry through installation coordination and beyond. Her day-to-day work includes responding to emails, submitting and acknowledging orders, scheduling installs, coordinating work orders, and keeping the many behind-the-scenes details organized.

Shannon began her BI career as an administrative assistant and has continued to grow her knowledge of the industry, her role, and the impact support has on each project. She understands that Client Services | Support is an important part of the puzzle, and she takes pride in seeing a project completed, knowing her team helped make it happen.

Business Interiors is pleased to welcome Annette Plaia as MillerKnoll’s new Strategic Account Executive for Healthcare and the Public Sector. Annette will cover Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle, including the markets served by Business Interiors.

Annette’s addition expands MillerKnoll’s presence across our region, providing another dedicated resource alongside Kristen Marcus, our MillerKnoll Market Development Executive, with Annette focused specifically on strategic opportunities within healthcare and the public sector.
