Speaker and Native American Hoop Dancer Eric Hernandez performed, taught and talked with students this morning. He and his fiancée, chef and author Pyet DeSpain, will be teaching in the dance and creative writing departments throughout the week. Eric was the lead character in Cirque du Soleil’s “Totem.” He is working on his first film (which includes Pyet!) @couragethefilm and ASFA students got to be the first people to see the trailer!

Students can focus on creative writing, dance, math-science, music, theatre arts, and visual arts. The school offers comprehensive academic classes. ASFA's nationally acclaimed faculty provides unmatched arts and college preparatory training.

What are you doing this weekend? You should come see ASFA Dance at Fiesta BHAM! Our students will perform a piece choreographed by Daniel Hernandez in Linn Park around 12:20 PM. It will start at the fountain and move to City Hall. ASFA will also have a table set up. Stop by and say "hola"!
