๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽจ Support Student Dreams: Give the Gift of Summer Scholarships! ๐ŸŒž
At ASFA, we believe in nurturing young talents and transforming lives. This summer, you can make a difference by supporting scholarships for life-changing programs.
Meet Favor Buchi, a passionate ASFA Theatre student, was eager to participate in a professional production at the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute.

"The opportunity to perform professionally as Miss Adelaide in SSTIโ€™s production of Guys and Dolls allowed me to bring such a beautiful character to life through a black lens. This has made my dream of rewriting the 'stereotypical' script in the musical theatre industry even closer. As I hold Broadway Worldโ€™s South Carolina Award for Best Performer in a Musical, for this role, I am so blessed and thankful for the opportunity ASFA gave me to tell this story!" - Favor Buchi, ASFA Theatre

ASFA Strings will also enchant you with their rendition of Concerto Grosso in D minor, "La Folia." The highlight of the evening is the ASFA Choir's performance of John Rutter's "Requiem," a powerful choral work accompanied by a professional chamber ensemble. The talented Cathy Spence, ASFA voice instructor, will also be featured as a vocal soloist.

OPENING TONIGHT! ASFA Theatre presents their last showcase of the year: "Brainstorm" by Ned Glasier, Emily Lim and Company Three (Originally presented at the National Theatre of London, Directed by David Strickland) Sat-Sun, March 16-17. A unique theatrical investigation into how teenagers' brains work, and why they're designed by evolution to be the way they are. Get your tickets at www.DJDTheater.com/events

"...a very cunningly put-together piece, drawing with unflinching honesty on material excavated from the young people's own lives ...and capturing the hormonal rush and wild mood swings of teenage existence. The real beauty of this memorable show is that it's not just all about them-it's definitely about us too." - The Guardian (UK).
