I. Celebrations!
I'd like to celebrate the Volleyball C Team on their most recent win, and I'd like to celebrate the Lowell School Football team on their win this past week! I also heard we got a 12th place at our last Cross country meet (Matt Flores). Go Jaguars!!

However, as much as I'm always proud of what our children accomplishment (athletics, academics, leadership...), I'll always be prouder of their character. I heard from the teachers that athletes were encouraging their team mates during our intervention classes--ie., asking if they needed help with Math homework, telling each other to work harder so there's no issue with eligiblity, congratulating each other when they did well on quizzes. THAT's what we want to see! Well done and thank you athletes!!

II. Logistics
A. Monday: Yay ​school! Practices as scheduled.
B. Tuesday: Lowell Volleyball @ Naco ​
C. Wednesday: Wednes after school tutoring with the late bus, Lowell VB vs. Smith (home game)
D. Thursday: Lowell Cross Country @ Naco
E. Friday: No Friday School this week

Our Cross Country team braved 100+ degree temperatures and a tough 2 mile course yesterday in Benson. Matthew Flores finished 11th overall and all runners improved their per mile times significantly. Go Jaguars!

Hello Lowell Community.

Reminder: Parent/Teacher conferences are tomorrow from 2-6pm. Early dismissal tomorrow at 1:30. Bring the whole family. We'll have snacks. Please have your child bring their learning log. No appts necessary; however, we recommend arriving 2-4pm if you'd like to speak to teachers for a lengthier time.
