Copper Queen Library (Bisbee, AZ) Welcome to the Copper Queen Library, the oldest continuously operating public library in Arizona. Call us at 520 432-4232.

The Copper Queen Library is located at 6 Main Street in Old Bisbee, Bisbee, AZ, and is open Mon-Tue 12-7pm & Wed-Fri 10am-5pm. The CQL Annex is located in the San Jose neighborhood of Bisbee, at 519 W. Melody Lane, in the BUSD District building. The Annex is open We, Th, 10 am--3 pm, and Fri 12-5 pm.

Come learn about Cochise County's Community Wildlife Protection Plan this Tuesday at 5 PM at the Copper Queen Library. This outreach program will give community members the opportunity to learn about how Cochise County developed the CWPP using stakeholders from local, state, and federal agencies. The team will present the CWPP drafts to the residents of Cochise County.

The Copper Queen Library Annex will be hosting an Open House during the Bisbee Science Lab’s Pie & Sky Astronomy Event on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Annex. The CQ Library Annex will be open to visitors and patrons to sign up for library cards, check out books & DVDs, make crafts, play with our LiteZilla light-up pegboard and more! The Bisbee Science Lab will be offering science-themed activities, a chance to admire the night sky through one of their telescopes, and pizza.
