Nearly $1 billion is available to help make your roadways safer.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has opened applications for the FY26 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program, supporting regional, local, and tribal efforts to reduce roadway deaths and serious injuries.

This year’s funding also prioritizes emergency response coordination and public safety dispatch, making it especially relevant for fire and EMS departments.

Please Help Us Congratulate 6 of Our Team that just completed their Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification in Edinburgh. These 6 individuals took the last 4 weekends to be away from their families and gave up their free time to work hard and diligently to complete the training and We are Super Proud of each one of them.

Attend one of our pre-designated skills days in San Marcos, or move through the course even faster by using your own certified proctor.

With CTRTA, you are not stuck waiting on a traditional class schedule. Our courses can be completed in as little as 1 week or extended up to 3 months, depending on your availability.

Important: A 10-day notice is required before starting.
