It's that time of year, our Annual Taatsawano event is upon us.
A social gathering to share, learn, laugh and have some good old fashion competitions. Please look to the additional flyers to see more details!

Interested in showcasing traditional items?
Items could include beadwork, moccasins, ribbon shirts or skirts, fandango camp dress, war dance outfit, basketry or other tribal traditional items.
Please dress to impress and share your style! We will have a photographer onsite to take headshots of participants and families.

Join the Cultural Center, FSP, and THPO on Sunday, May 31st at 11:00am - 12:00pm at the Cultural Center for an informational walk about plants and traditional topics.

⚫Please dress accordingly to the weather the day of!
⚫Bring a reusable water bottle.

📣The 2026 Veteran Art Challenge has come to a close! 🇺🇸

The Cultural Center received two entries this year and we were truly impressed by the talent and creativity of our artists! Each piece stood out in its own way, and we are very proud of these two talented ladies.

A total of 59 votes were cast by community members during Memorial Day Weekend (May 22–24), with votes cast by veterans counting as double. The competition was close!

🏆 1st place winner, with 102 points, is Lucinda Yandell
🏅 2nd place winner, with 93 points, is Marcella Garcia

Marcella Garcia's 2nd Place artwork will be on temporary display at the Cultural Center, while Lucinda Yandell's 1st place piece will be on permanent display and will be featured on this year's veteran memorabilia. We encourage everyone to visit and see these moving works of art in person.

👏 Congratulations to both of these ladies, and thank you for sharing your talent, creativity, and respect for our veterans with the community. We are honored to showcase your work!

New dates for the Cultural Center's Gift Shop Buying Days!

Due to scheduling adjustments, our Buying Days have been moved to the following week and will now be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, June 9th & 10th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM both days.

All items must be new | All items must be your own original work

Please avoid:
Logos or trademarks | Pen or pencil markings | Fake cloth backing | Excess mirror or cabochon use
