Good afternoon.

After carefully assessing current and projected weather conditions, Lee County School District has designated Tuesday, February 3, 2026, as an eLearning Day for all students and staff members.
School and district leadership have evaluated road conditions throughout the county and determined that many secondary and tertiary roads continue to have patches of black ice. In addition, temperatures are expected to drop below freezing tonight, which may further contribute to hazardous travel conditions.

In the best interest of the safety of our students, staff members, families, community, and stakeholders, the District will operate on an eLearning Day rather than in-person instruction.

This decision was made collaboratively, following consultation with school leadership, district leadership, the County Emergency Management Team, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department, and reflects our ongoing commitment to prioritizing safety while ensuring continuity of learning.

We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and continued support as we work together to protect the well-being of our school community. Please continue to monitor the District website and page.
