🎨✨ FLEX Camp is making history once again! ✨🎨

This week, our students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a one-of-a-kind mural experience led by Devotions of Color and the talented Ms. Cindy and her team.

Through creativity, collaboration, and imagination, students were invited into a vibrant world of art, colors, and fun as they worked together to create a meaningful mural that will serve as a lasting reminder of their creativity and self-expression.

Experiences like these are what make FLEX Camp so special—providing students with opportunities to explore new talents, build confidence, and leave their mark on something bigger than themselves.

A special thank you to Ms. Cindy and the entire Devotions of Color team for sharing your gifts, inspiring our students, and helping them create a masterpiece that reflects the beauty, diversity, and creativity within our school community.

At PDMSTA, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom, and today our students proved that art has the power to bring people together, tell stories, and create lasting memories.

Happy Birthday to Ms. Spann, our wonderful Receptionist!

Ms. Spann truly embodies the spirit of PDMSTA through her warmth, professionalism, and the care she shows to our students, families, staff, and visitors each day. She is often one of the first faces people see when they enter our building, and she helps set the tone for the welcoming environment we strive to create.

🎓✨ The Class of 2026 continues to make its mark!

At a recent South Carolina Public Charter School District Board Meeting, students from across the state were recognized for exceptional accomplishments, including earning Associate Degrees while in high school and committing to military service.

P*e Dee Math, Science, and Technology Academy was proudly represented by Neil Bailey and Shy’Kia Hough, both of whom are featured in the attached photos and were present to receive recognition for their achievements.

🎓 Neil Bailey was recognized for earning two Associate Degrees while enrolled at PDMSTA, an extraordinary accomplishment that reflects academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance. He will attend the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business this fall.

🇺🇸 Shy’Kia Hough was recognized for her commitment to serve our nation through military enlistment, demonstrating leadership, courage, and a heart for service. She will also attend Claflin University this fall.

We also proudly recognize Candria Merritt, who was unable to attend the ceremony but likewise earned an Associate Degree while completing her high school education at PDMSTA.

The accomplishments of these students exemplify the mission of PDMSTA to prepare students for college, career, and military success. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and beyond.

🎓 PDMSTA Student Spotlight: Madison Benjamin Earns President's List Honors at CCTC

We are excited to share outstanding news regarding one of our rising seniors, Madison Benjamin.

PDMSTA recently received notification from the office of Dr. Jennifer Wilbanks, President of Central Carolina Technical College, that Madison has been named to the **President's List for Spring Semester 2026**.

This prestigious honor is awarded to students who are enrolled in at least six credit hours and earn a **4.0 grade-point average** for the semester. Madison's exceptional academic performance has distinguished her among her peers and demonstrates the level of excellence that we strive to cultivate at PDMSTA.

Her achievement reflects dedication, discipline, perseverance, and a commitment to academic excellence. Madison continues to set a high standard for student success and serves as an example of what is possible when preparation meets opportunity.
