Q: How long have you lived in Hot Spring County?
A: I have lived in Hot Spring County at Caney for 50 Years.
Q: Where are your favorite places to spend time in our county?
A: I enjoy camping at Degray Lake and meeting at the Coffee Shop on Tuesday and Friday mornings to discuss issues concerning Hot Spring County.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My Hobbies are playing music, fishing, and working on our farm.
Q: What is something people may not know about you?
A: I am very compassionate about the welfare of our senior citizens. I believe they are our greatest assets. I believe in helping neighbors and friends.
Q: Why are you running for this position?
A: There became a vacancy in District 9, and I decided to run after a lot of thought and consideration. I want to serve the people in District 9 and to make Hot Spring County better for us all and the future generations.
Q: What are the local issues that you are passionate about?
A: I would like to see better wages for County employees, improved roads, money spent more wisely. We need to invest time and energy in our industrial parks to get good industries in that pay top wages for our citizens.
Q: What are your plans if elected?
A: My goal is to work within the quorum court to make things better than we found it for us and future generations.
Q: What sets you apart from your opponent?
A: I want to honestly serve the people, have an open-door policy, and have good communication with the people I serve.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like voters to know about you?
A: I attend Caney Baptist Church where I serve as a Deacon and assistant music director.
