How long would it take to ski or snowboard all four downhill ski areas in North Dakota? They are Bottineau Winter Park northwest of Bottineau, Frost Fire Park near Walhalla, Thrill Hills near Fort Ransom and Huff Hills Ski Area south of Mandan.

For the participants of the self dubbed "Motley 701 Ski-a-Palooza" it only took a single day.

These ski areas are all in different parts of the state and can be enjoyed by any skier or snowboarder at a more leisurely pace. There are good options for dining and lodging near each of the parks.
