We are hiring an Underwriter in Bismarck, North Dakota!

This role supports WSI’s mission of providing financial stability through educating, servicing, and protecting stakeholders. The Underwriter manages an assigned group of employer accounts, assessing risk exposure, determining proper rate classifications, verifying payroll to establish premiums, analyzing coverage requirements, completing jurisdictional determinations, and reviewing experience rate calculations. Responsibilities also include assisting with account transfers and consolidations. Strong communication skills, sound decision-making, attention to detail, and a forward-thinking mindset are essential.

Qualified applicants will have at least four years of work experience in business administration services or an insurance-related field, including areas such as processing insurance policies or endorsements, claims adjusting, risk management, auditing, or accounting. College-level coursework in business administration, accounting, public administration, healthcare, economics, or closely related fields may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

We are hiring a Support Specialist in Bismarck, North Dakota!

This role provides administrative support, customer service, and operational coordination for WSI's Policyholder Services Department, helping ensure employers receive accurate and efficient service.
Responsibilities include responding to employer inquiries, maintaining employer account information, supporting users in the myWSI portal, coordinating employer communications, processing financial transactions, reviewing employer coverage documentation, and preparing correspondence.
The Support Specialist also collaborates with internal staff and external agencies to verify employer coverage requirements while providing technical and administrative support to ensure efficient policy administration. Strong customer service, communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in office support or customer service. Further education in office support, business, or office education may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.
