The Bismarck Fire Protection District is proud to announce the fulfillment of the MFA Oil Volunteer Firefighter Grant we received in January.

New Key Hose Combat Sniper fire hose and Elkhart Brass Nozzles were delivered today and will be installed on Tanker 3170.

Now all three trucks are running low pressure high GPM systems allowing us to deliver more water on target with less nozzle reaction to firefighters.

We are proud to introduce the newest apparatus to our fleet.

The Bismarck Fire Protection District was able to sell our 1991 Ford Tanker and replace it with this 1997 Pierce Dash Pumper Tanker with NO Debt to the District.

This truck is equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 2000 Gallons of water, and a 6 man cab allowing us to bring more firefighting capabilities to the scene. The truck is also equipped with a front mount intake which allows for single lane drafting operations on rural roads and boat ramps.

With this purchase, we now have 3 Pierce Custom Cab trucks that improve mobility without sacrificing equipment and ability. It also streamlines operations and maintenance with all trucks being the same platform and manufacturer.
