The Rally to Vote NO on 1318 has been moved to Monday! This bill will be voted on sooner than we originally thought. We apologize for any confusion.

Once again, the legislature is showing how much trust they have in small government entities that aren't controlled by party politics. There are several bills that have been introduced taking away choices school boards should be making.

What ever happened to local control?

Governor Burgum has testified in front of the legislative committee on proposed legislation to abolish ND's anti corporate farming laws. This shouldn’t surprise anyone since he comes from a corporate background. This should be seen as over-reach of the executive branch.

However, North Dakota has a proud history of supporting family farms. North Dakota went so far as to create a State Mill and Elevator, and aState-owned Bank in order to prevent corporations from destroying family farms with their sub market prices. The Nonpartisan League saw corporate farming as an issue a hundred years ago, and even though a century has passed, the Nonpartisan League today still sees this as an issue facing North Dakota's economy.

We need to tell Governor Burgum that the legislature needs to help the people of this state and not the companies driven solely by profit.

The camp by the river got hit really hard by Fargo police recently - many people lost alll their winter clothes, blankets, and necessary survival items. Please consider donating your clean unwanted blankets and winter gear to the CCCP free pantry so we can help folks who are coming to us cold. Send us a message to schedule a donation drop-off. Thank you!

How about, we stop supporting the two party system all together.

They don't represent us, they just appeal to our bias.
