Several areas in across the state will see very high to extreme grassland fire danger Thursday afternoon into the evening. Stay alert, avoid activities that could spark a fire, and report smoke or fire immediately.

We kept each hunt as its own division. Night hunt was 21 hours and the Day hunt was 10
Hours. Teams were not allowed to compete in both divisions. We also required a shake test video this year as a change to our rules for proof of time. Thank you everyone who participated. We had a few new faces and a few returns so that’s always nice.

We have had some questions on clarification of entry fee break down and hunting hours

Night hunt is $250 entry fee. From that total we enter you in for the bonus pots of most dogs, big dog and Little dog. Same is done for the day hunt except the entry fee is $150 for that hunt.

The night hunt will be Friday at the end of the rules meeting to sunset Saturday(end of legal shooting hours). 21 hour hunt

The day hunt will be the same as usual and take place on Saturday during legal shooting hours only. 10 hour hunt.

The two divisions will not compete against each other. Both groups will weigh 5 dogs of teams choice for winning the division. There is no limit to number of dogs harvested only weighed. The teams will be responsible for disposing of their own kills.

To win big and little dog it must come in with your 5 weighed dogs. Number of harvested dogs from each team will be counted at weigh in for most dog pot.
