Appraisers from the Perkins Equalization office will be inspecting property in the townships on the western side of Perkins County from May until November.

We will try to set up an appointment with you, but If no one is home we will do an external inspection only, verifying measurements, quality and condition of the structures on the property and updated pictures will be taken.

A note will be left on your door, but we cannot keep the wind from blowing the tag away.

This reappraisal will be reflected in your assessment you will receive in March of 2016. Please contact Rownea Gerbracht at 605-244-5623 with any questions you may have.

Zeona Road is still closed from Mud Butte to Zeona due to wash out, you can still take the Moreau River Road to Cedar Canyon Road to get to 212. BNL Contracting has begun work on this road. A detour has been built. Please drive carefully, Semi's are not recommended.

UPDATE:

Perkins County Roads that are CLOSED:

Richland Township Road is closed from the Bixby road to the Date Road because of wash out
Foster Road is closed at the bridge
Ed Chapman's road closed, due to wash out
Voss Road closed due to wash out

Crews are out working on these issues, will have roads back to passable as soon as possible.
