The Black Eagle Fire Department is once again in the process of setting up the 4th of July parade! If your organization, business, or you just want to be involved pick up an application! Applications can be picked up at the Black Eagle Community Center, the Black Eagle Country club, or our old station at 519 21st St N, Black Eagle in the mail box on the flap pole fence!

If you fill out an application please return it to the mailbox! If you have any questions leave a comment and a member will reach out!!

Funeral procession for Retired Dave " Loper" Lee:

Procession following service
* Depart from Scotish Rite to 10th Ave South
* West on 10th Ave South to right on 6th St SW.
* North on 6th St SW to Northwest Bypass.
* Northwest Bypass continuing on Vaughn south frontage road

AT THE END OF THE FRONTAGE ROAD ALL OTHER UNITS EXCEPT BLACK EAGLE AND GREAT FALLS AIRPORT FIRE UNITS TURN RIGHT AND RETURN TO THE INTERSTATE.

** At the family's request, only Lee's family, Black Eagle Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department and Great Falls Airport Firefighters IAFF Local 3261 will continue Procession to Dave's burial place.

The family wishes that any fire department and trucks report/ park at the Scotish Rite between 0945-1015. Apparatus parked no later than 1015 please.

• Funeral Service: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Procession Begins: 1:00 PM

The funeral service is open to all first responders, agencies, people impacted by Dave’s life, or members of the public who want to pay their respects. If you are an agency that wants to be a part of the procession please comment below and we will message you directly.

Captain Lee’s impact on the fire service and those who served beside him will never be forgotten. We ask that you keep his family, friends, and brothers and sisters in the fire service in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Last night December 23rd, members of the Black Eagle Fire Department had the honor and privilege of giving Santa a ride to deliver presents to a family in the township of Black Eagle. We want to give a special shout out to Greg at the Black Eagle Community Center for organizing this amazing event! The early morning of December 1st, 2025 at approximately 3:45am Black Eagle Fire and mutual aid companies were dispatched to a report of a working residential structure fire on 13th St Ne in the township of Black Eagle. A member of Black Eagle Fire was driving by on his way to work, saw the fire and immediately went to the scene. Once on scene command was established and confirmed the working structure fire. Black Eagle Engine 321 arrived on scene within 9 minutes of dispatch and stretched a handline for fire control and primary search, members were met with heavy fire and frigid temperatures. A 2 alarm was struck bringing more units to the scene and Engine 1 and Battalion 1 from Great Falls Fire Rescue. The fire was brought under control in roughly 30 min. Firefighters stayed on scene throught the morning finishing checking for extension and completeing overhaul. The structure is considered inhabitable and a complete loss. The Red Cross was contacted for the 4 residents. Black Eagle Fire would like to thank Great Falls Fire Rescue, Vaughn Fire Rescue, Gore Hill Fire Rescue, Sand Coulee Fire Department, Great Falls Emergency Services, and Cascade County Sheriffs Department for their help. Black Eagle Fire Department stands ready to serve the citizens of Black Eagle and Cascade County.
