Gilpin County Public Health Gilpin County Public Health Department It provides water testing to detect total coliform bacteria and E. coli using the Colilert Presence/Absence method.

Gilpin County Public Health has a water quality lab certified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Water samples are accepted Monday through Wednesday from 8 am until 4 pm at this office. There is a $25 charge for this test. For more information call 303-582-5803.
