🚨 BE PREPARED. BE READY. 🚨
Being prepared for an emergency looks a little different for everyone, and having a plan before something happens can make all the difference.
The Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office is happy to help share an upcoming FREE Disaster Preparedness Training hosted by the Center for People With Disabilities (CPWD), Gilpin Office of Emergency Management, and Xcel Energy.
This training is designed for people with disabilities, older adults, caregivers, family members, friends, neighbors, and anyone who wants to be better prepared when disaster strikes.
📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Gilpin Community Center – Multi-Purpose Room

🎒 Even better - participants will receive a preparedness supply kit that includes a backup battery charger, headlamp, water filter, and additional go-bag items!
