Vocal Toning is a form of singing that anyone can do and singing has a long list of well-documented health benefits. Despite what your mind would have you believe, your soul loves to sing. Toning offers a fast and effective way to open your heart and embody what you really want to communicate. This is an opportunity to express yourself freely. It can be joyful, it can be playful, it can be anguished, dissonant, beautiful, loud or soft... it can be anything necessary to bring you closer to peace. Express yourself through toning in a language beyond words. You are the only one who can embody your voice! We will be moving through cycles throughout the freestyle Toning session. The first cycle is expressing. Here we are in our own worlds, trying on a variety of new sounds, discovering our own unique voice and beginning to listen to it without judgement. We may encounter one another, or we may not. Then we move into the cycle of listening. We become conscious of and curious about the voices around us. We begin to copy sounds, interplay and unify as our listening deepens. We follow natures way from dissonance into harmony. This is the moment of magic that takes us into the third cycle of soaring, accessing our wisdom within, where we are ourselves within what is bigger than ourselves, flying on the wings of our creation, in service to that creation. You don't need experience to be a part of this. This event will continue through your love offerings in support of the Light Center and its generosity in having us here and in support of the facilitators. If you are in hardship, come anyway with no embarrassment or guilt. Just help spread the word about it to others in support of our mission. Vocal toning opens the channels of communication with our Higher Self and increases our personal frequency, making it possible to stay for longer periods in high energy. When we’re toning with a group something powerful both transforming and healing emerges from our coordinated sounding. Everything in the universe is energy vibrating at various frequencies. Sound is immediately felt and responded to by the body. Vocal toning stirs energy both inside and outside ourselves, it penetrates the ground and the air and thus affecting the vibrations of the Planet. When we are toning ~ sounds unlock inner doorways realigning our molecules. Yvonne Rainbow Teplitsky was introduced to vocal toning in 1990/91 in Denmark by Karina Schelde (of Soul Voice) and furthered her toning studies in 1998 in Maui & 1999 in California with Karina Schelde. She was introduced to free-style vocal toning in North Carolina by Dielle Ciesco (of Toning for Peace) in 2009. Free-style Toning: is when you’re playing with tones on a full out-breath from your inner authentic voice. Honor the sounds arising from deep within you ~ it’s your authentic voice. Stretch the sounds playfully by following your inner guidance and creativity. Let go of your mind and allow your authentic voice to take over. We utilize free-style in the session: Toning for Transformation. Free-style toning is as unique as the individual expressing their own sounds! Straight Toning: is when you stay on the same tone and pitch for a full out-breath. We tone the vowels this way in the warm-up session: Activation Toning of our Energy Center's (chakra's) as well as in the session: Toning for Peace & Healing of our Planet. Our Chakras are the energetic conduits of life connecting us directly to the Universal Life Force. The chakras are spinning wheels of energy, and their existence has been validated by scientific instruments that pick up the vibration of energy in specific areas of the body. Imbalances and blockages in the chakras can manifest as problems in the physical body. Activating and rebalancing our Energy Centers with sounds and intentions, is particularly effective and promotes physical, emotional and spiritual well being. For more info:
