A note from our neighbors and friends over at Black Mountain Counseling Center: due to the weather forecast, the Good Days Fest has been cancelled tomorrow. Read their update for all the details! 💙
💛 TO OUR GOOD DAYS FEST COMMUNITY 💛
While we are deeply disappointed that weather forced us to cancel this year’s Good Days Fest, one thing has become incredibly clear:
✨ This community showed up. ✨
Good Days Fest was always meant to be more than an event.
It was about creating space for connection.
For joy.
For conversations about mental health.
For reminding one another that healing happens in community.
Our tagline this year was:
🌻 Good Vibes. Good People. Good Days Together. 🌻
And honestly? You embodied every bit of that.
From our sponsors, to community supporters, to vendors, to the people who planned to spend their Saturday with us—thank you.
Because of this community’s generosity, Black Mountain Counseling Center’s Client Assistance Program can help provide the equivalent of approximately 🌟 52 counseling sessions 🌟 for individuals and families in our community who may otherwise face barriers to care.
👏 That is what this movement has always been about. 👏
A special thank you to our sponsors:
✨ Buncombe County Long Term Recovery Group
✨ Grove Studio
✨ Richard Wiedeman DDS, PA
✨ Valley Truck Service
✨ Begley Law Firm
✨ Judi Melton, Mortgage Advisor
At Black Mountain Counseling Center, we believe mental health care should be accessible, human, and rooted in community.
Even though the event itself won’t happen this year, what it represented absolutely still matters.
Because movements aren’t built by perfect weather.
They’re built by people who care.
So while Good Days Fest may be canceled, the conversation about mental health accessibility does not stop here.
Let’s keep showing up for one another.
Let’s keep making care more accessible.
Let’s keep this movement going.
If this rain is watering the seeds we’ve planted, we can’t wait to see what grows when the sun comes back out. ☀️🌱💛
We’ll carry that with us until next year.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you.
