The purpose of the Jackson County Small Animal Committee shall be to...
Educate members in regards to the daily care and raising of small animals including poultry, rabbits, goats, exotics and pets. Educate members in regard to showing small animals at the Jackson County Fair. Hold 3 workshops per year for members to gain hands-on learning. Hold 2 auctions per year to give members and the surrounding community an opportunity to purchase and/or sell small animals.

There will be poultry testing at Fair grounds on Saturday for auction.

The spring auction will be on the 7th of April. Gates open at 6:00 A.M. and auction starts at 10:00. Jackson Co. Fair Grounds, Black River Falls, WI.15% commission.No pigs allowed this includes pot-bellied, too. No pullorium testing for poultry available.

Next meeting is on the 14th of November at 6:00 P.M. in the UWEX building. We plan on voting for officers that night. Hope to see lots of you there.

We will be having a fall auction...it will be on the second Saturday of September. So, the 9th. Gates open at 6:00 A.M. Auction starts at @10:00.

Fair cleanup and setup is July 26, starting at 4:00, hope to see everyone there, if you have a handful of birds to test I will be doing it that night. If you want a flock test done get ahold of me so I can come to the home. My # is 715-896-4659.

Next meeting is on the 11th of July at the UWEX @ 6.00. If you need your poultry flock retested get ahold of me so I can come to your house and get it done. If you only are showing a few I will be doing testing on work night at fairgrounds.
