Today, the Senate chose to pick politics over the mass agreement of the public. Over 90% of Americans agree with Universal Background checks on gun purchases, however, the bill only garnered 54 votes in the Senate. Politics, when dealing with human lives, must end now!

So much for gun control: The bipartisan Manchin-Toomey compromise to extend background checks to gun shows and Internet sales has died in the Senate.

Tomorrow is an election day in Wisconsin! Make sure you get out and vote.

Have you made your plan to vote yet? If not, do so here: Make your plan to vote: https://myvote.wi.gov/

Tomorrows election is very important. We have school board races, a State Superintendent race, and a State Supreme Court Race. It's time we get an advocate for everyone in the dysfunctional Supreme Court, and Ed Fallone gives us that. We can continue to look to Tony Evers for strong leadership as our state superintendent.

If you've already voted, remember to remind others to vote! Every vote counts!

Members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, Peace Corps, Public Health Service, NOAA, and their family members.
