Olde Quarry Park is now open following last week’s flooding.

Blacklick Ridge Community Park remains closed due to damage to the playground surfacing and parking lot. We’ll share another update as soon as it’s ready to reopen.

UPDATE | All Township roads are now open and passable, though high-water signs remain in place in a few areas. Please continue to use caution while traveling.

Olde Quarry Park and Blacklick Ridge Community Park remain closed until floodwaters recede and Township crews are able to assess conditions and any damage.

Jefferson Township is experiencing flooding this morning. Clark State Road is currently closed between Waggoner and Babbitt roads, and Havens Road is closed between Waggoner and Dixon roads. Olde Quarry Park and Blacklick Ridge Community Park are also closed due to high water.

Please use caution when traveling and avoid flooded roadways and low-lying areas. Never drive through standing or moving water, and do not go around road-closure barricades. Conditions can change quickly, so please allow extra time, use alternate routes, and continue to use caution until floodwaters recede.

LEGAL NOTICE | Zoning Commission Public Hearing

The Jefferson Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM at 6767 Havens Corners Road, the Jefferson Township Fire Department Community Room, to consider the following application:

CASE NO. RZ26-001: Jack Reynolds, Attorney, on behalf of property owner Paul Hackmann, submitted an application for 570 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, Parcel Number 170-000458, to rezone the property from RI – Restricted Industrial to PC - Planned Commercial District.

This proposed amendment is available for examination from August 11, 2026, through August 20, 2026, inclusive, Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Jefferson Township Administration Office, 6545 Havens Road, Blacklick, Ohio 43004.

The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Charles McCroskey, Jefferson Township Zoning Administrator/Inspector.

PELOTONIA RIDE WEEKEND 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ On Saturday, August 1, residents can expect heavy bicycle traffic and rolling delays on Clark State Road, Havens Road, Havens Corners Road, Mann Road, Taylor Station Road, and Waggoner Road.
