What made you decide to join Ranger Company?
I wanted to be the best I could possibly be and surround myself with people who have the same mindset to ensure success.

How has Ranger Company benefitted you as a cadet?
I am in the best shape of my life and have gotten to experience twice the amount of army training that most cadets do. Ranger Company has given me some of my best friends as well as many influential leadership opportunities.

Tips for people assessing?
Overprepare, humble yourself and be a team player.

What made you decide to join Ranger Company?
I quickly developed an interest to assess into Ranger Company because I saw the assessment process as a great opportunity to challenge myself mentally and physically. After being selected, I learned there were even more opportunities ahead of me and the training had just begun. It has been an honor to be in this Company, and I am thankful for the comradery, competitive environment, and routine training there has been each year.

How has Ranger Company been edited you as a cadet?
Ranger Company has allowed me to develop strong bonds with those I train with, learn from instructors with a vast amount of knowledge/experiences, and conduct extra training (Sapper, Air Assault, Ranger Challenge, Ranger FTX).

Tips for people assessing?
Take it day to day and know you can push beyond the mental barriers you create. Prepare yourself physically prior to beginning the process and understand the importance of physical and mental endurance.

To all our alumni, Ranger Company just finished the yearly Game ball tradition and has covered more than one hundred miles throughout campus. We are offering the opportunity to enter a raffle fundraiser where the randomly selected alumni participant will receive a signed Virginia Tech game ball. To enter, please scan the QR code linked to the attached flyer, each raffle ticket is $10, and participants can purchase as many as desired. All proceeds will go towards supporting Ranger Company’s training resources and improve the train up process for this year’s Ranger Challenge Competition.
