The Antioch Fire Department is currently on scene after an 18 wheeler crashed and caught fire.

In addition to our annual SCBA, ground ladder and aerial testing, we also are required to conduct annual pump testing of our fire apparatus fleet by a third party vendor per the NFPA standards. Thank you to all who ensured our pump testing was completed today.

Blacksburg Fire units are clearing up from a mutual aid call with a working structure fire in the Smyrna Fire District. Multiple agencies were called to assist with manpower and with water shuttling operations. (Tanker91 and crew responded)

Tower 91 and Engine 90 assisting as mutual aid on a vehicle collision in the CKC fire district this afternoon. The incident has now been cleared and all vehicles removed.

Several members of the Blacksburg Fire Department recently attended a leadership seminar in Charlotte NC featuring two fire service legends, Chief Rick Lasky and Chief John Salka. Thank you to Central Piedmont Community College for hosting this event.
