With the help of thriving alumni and community experts, students will determine what it means for them to thrive and will seek specific opportunities to support their unique vision for themselves. Thrive utilizes an interactive approach that is rele

vant to students, drawing heavily on pop culture and social media. Within the Thrive community, students will have real conversations about their future, and strategize for their own success at Virginia Tech and beyond.

Each fall, there are new, limited-edition Hokie socks designed by students. This year, student designers Jake Sousa and Abigail Bollinger wove their own campus experiences into designs that Hokies everywhere will soon have the chance to wear with pride.

Cleo is one of Thrive's seniors this year, and one of our incredible peer mentors!

Congratulations to Cleo for being recognized for this summer research experience with the The Fralin Life Sciences Institute at Virginia Tech! We're SO proud of Cleo and other Thrivers engaging in research and other meaningful personal, academic, and professional experiences.

Nine undergraduate students were paired with Fralin Life Sciences Institute-affiliated faculty mentors for the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program, a 10-week training program designed to give motivated undergraduates full-time research experience that mirrors real-world graduate work.
