Blacksburg Aquatic Center Closed: June 15
Due to construction of a new HVAC unit, the Blacksburg Aquatic Center will be closed on Monday, June 15. The facility will reopen on Tuesday, June 16.
All programs, camps and swim lessons on Monday, June 15 are cancelled.

Reminder: On Wednesday, June 10 at 1pm, you are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open this new feature in our park. The event will take place at the Climbing Boulders within Municipal Park, next to Hand-in-Hand playground; parking is available at 920 Turner Street NE.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at installation day and see how these exciting new features came together.

Blacksburg Aquatic Center Delayed Opening: June 2 – 5
Due to an HVAC equipment failure, the Blacksburg Aquatic Center will operate on a delayed opening schedule this week, Tuesday, June 2 – Friday, June 5; the facility will open to patrons at 7am each day. More information will be communicated when updates are available.

UPDATE, 9am: Blacksburg Aquatic Center Opening 10AM – June 1
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center will reopen at 10am today, Monday, June 1. The Aquatic Center was initially supposed to be closed due to a maintenance issue, but the repairs have been made, and it will be re-opened.
