HOLIDAY GARBAGE SCHEDULE- If your trash is normally picked up on Wednesdays, your trash will be picked up Tuesday Dec 23rd. If your trash is picked up on Thursdays, your trash will be picked up Wednesday Dec. 24th. Please have your trash can out at the respected times.

The Blacksburg Christmas Parade will be held Saturday December 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Our Grand Marshall will be State Representative Steve Moss along side some of our local veterans. There is NO entry fee to be in the parade!! If you would like to be part of the Christmas Parade or need float information please call Debby Mullinax or Brandi White at Town Hall 864-839-2332.Also, anyone who has a golf cart and would like to decorate it and be apart of the first ever "mini golf cart parade" inside The Blacksburg Christmas Parade this year please call Town Hall and let us know. The Blacksburg Business Association will sponsor Christmas on the Square in Blacksburg on Saturday, December 13 after the parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the community house located beside the police department at 3:00 to give a present and fruit bag to children 12 and under.

Thank you all for your responses about our sidewalk. Please keep the comments coming, we are listening! We do ask that all comments are kept positive and remain helpful. Also, keep in mind that these repairs can only be made inside our city limits.
