We are hiring Relief/Respite Care Staff to support families in our community.

This position is as-needed with no set schedule.

Some times you may work one day, other times it could be a few days or a week depending on the needs of the family and caregiver.

End-of-Life Doula Support

At NRV Community Care Solutions, we are honored to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate the final chapters of life.

An End-of-Life Doula provides nonmedical, holistic support to those who are dying and to the loved ones who care for them. Our role is to bring comfort, guidance, and peace throughout this tender time.

What an End-of-Life Doula Does:

Offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support for individuals and families.

Provides companionship, a listening ear, and reassurance during the dying process.

Helps reduce fear and anxiety by explaining what to expect.

Assists families in creating sacred, meaningful rituals and memory-making activities.

Coordinates with loved ones and care teams to ensure the client’s wishes are honored.

Offers respite support for caregivers.

Supports grief and bereavement needs for families after a loss.

In addition to bedside support, we guide individuals and families through advance care planning, including:

Discussing and documenting wishes for medical treatment.

Preparing Advance Directives and health care proxies.

Helping with legacy projects and life review.

Supporting the creation of meaningful end-of-life plans that reflect personal values, culture, and faith.

Nrv CCS is hiring part time hours,

2 days aweek 830- 3

this will be split between 2 clients, 3.5hours with a client in blacksburg then 2 hours with a client in Christiansburg, you will get paid 1 hour between the clients.

Starting at $15/hr could go up from there.

Experience is a plus but not required
Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle (1 client likes to go out)
You will get paid a transportation fee for taking a client out.
Could be relief staff for other clients- could turn into a full time position, or higher part time hours
