We had a wonderful first day of Water Week at camp, exploring the science of water and density through hands-on experiments and outdoor play!

A fun afternoon at Barn Buddies learning all about colors and markings! We looked at lots of different types of horses on our farm, discussed their colors, breeds, and markings, measured their heights, and then made our own craft horses to go home.

Our new play structure is officially ready for kids at camp next week! We can’t wait to welcome our largest group yet to Water Week on the farm.

Designed for homeschoolers ages 5–12, Fall Naturalists is an engaging outdoor science and math exploration class where curiosity leads the way. Led by experienced teachers, children will discover the wonders of the fall season through hands-on learning, nature exploration, and interactive activities on the farm.

A big milestone at Barn Buddies when 3 of our participants filled up their ribbons for the first time with 5 badges and got to take them home! We labeled parts of horse with post-its, cleaned stalls, filled water, made and fed grain, and learned about horse breeds. A great way to spend a hot afternoon at the barn!
