Community Uplifting Alliance Project The Community Uplifting Alliance Project is a non-profit specializing in low-income housing and small business development.

The Community Uplifting Alliance Project is a non-profit organization headquartered in Blackville SC. The organization exists to empower the Barnwell, Orangeburg, Bamberg and Hampton county residents by providing services that will assist residents in finding and repairing housing, starting small businesses, continuing their education and other community focused efforts. If there is a legitimate n

eed, we strive to find the resources to meet it. We are a non-profit organization, subsisting on grant money and donations. We have been awarded over $1.1 million dollars in grant money since 2005. The majority of that money went to build, rehab and repair housing for low income Blackville residents. In 2010, we rehabilitated 30 homes, performed emergency repairs on 8 homes and constructed 4 rental units. We are always looking assistance, new members and, of course, donations. We look forward to you joining us for the 7th Annual Distinguished Men Who Cook where you can Sample 25 incredible cooks featuring their specialties from throughout the region. Saturday August 17th, 4pm at the Blackville-Hilda High School Cafeteria, 76 Atkins Circle, Blackville, SC, 29817. $20 Admission.
