This past Tuesday night, the company trained on basic First Due Engine Company operations. With a handful of probationary members preparing to enter the Academy to obtain their Firefighter 1 certification, we went back to the basics. From properly donning PPE & SCBA to stretching the first attack line and securing a water supply from a hydrant, members worked through multiple skill stations and performed flawlessly.
