South Jersey JBS Freedom Campaign
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES and MEMBER ACTIVITY
SYLP - JBS Member Fernando Powers and Chris Marrero (former police officer and JBS friend) report that the Camden County Freeholders are pushing for regionalizing the police. Military style equipment will be housed in Blackwood. Both Fernando and Chris attended a meeting/protest last Tuesday handing our around 150 SYLP reprints to attendees, mostly police officers who were protesting. Chris reports on the events in the attachment.
The protester in the picture to the left is seen holding several copies of our SYLP reprint. Our strongest weapon is our educational arsenal.
Once again, the John Birch Society is leading the charge on an issue most voters and patriot groups don't even have on their radar. Like our warning of Agenda 21 in 1992, we are pleased our recent Agenda 21 material is being used by patriot groups across the country to educate others. Now, our revitalized campaign from the early 70s is being used to educate voters on the dangers of moving the power of law enforcement away from the people and toward government. Regional police will start in Camden County and then be embraced by counties across the State, eventually eliminating much of the authority of your local police. And according to FOX NEWS, your Governor Chris Christie approves of this plan.
At our Chapter Meetings last week, JBS Members viewed a DVD on local police enforcement and the danger of the SPLC. Members were given material to distribute to their local police. This morning, I was driving to work and saw a Camden County Sheriff vehicle pull into Wawa near Camden on Rt. 70. When the officer came out, I handed him a clear bang with a SYLP reprint, the SYLP DVD featuring Jim Fitzgerald, Field Director for the JBS and former Newark Police Officer, a letter from Jim Fitzgerald and a Support Your Local Police Booklet. He thanked me and reviewed the information while sitting in his vehicle. In typical fashion, our material will be shared with other opinion molders who he will share with.
