Our engine won a trophy for 2nd place for the ‘90s’ category at Cooper River Annual Fire Truck Muster🏆

During last night’s duty crew Quint and Battalion 83 responded to a reported vehicle fire at the intersection of Little Gloucester road and Coles road.

On arrival Battalion 83 encountered a vehicle with the engine compartment well involved.

Quint 83’s crew deployed a 1-3/4” attack line and quickly extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Firefighter Monforte was responding to a fire call in his personal vehicle when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash at Black Horse Pike and Church Street in Blackwood. Firefighter Monforte was behind a fire engine, utilizing a flashing light on his dashboard, when he went through the intersection and collided with another vehicle.

Every Tuesday our members run training night. Recently our crew reviewed building construction. By touring the new buildings under construction we can pre-plan and understand building types. This will help us prepare to be efficient and safe when needed. Messages us for more information on joining if you would like to volunteer.

The members of Blenheim Fire Company are saddened to hear of the passing of Chews Landing fire company past Chief Reichert. Our condolences go out to Chews Landing Fire Company and to Chief Reichert’s family and friends.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Past Chief Reichert.

Past Chief Reichert joined the department in 1958 and dedicated a lifetime of service spanning nearly seven decades. He served as Chief from 1978 to 2007, leading with unwavering commitment, integrity, and compassion. Following his tenure as Chief, he continued to serve as Commissioner from 2013 until the time of his passing, demonstrating that his dedication to this department never wavered.

Please keep the Reichert family, his friends, and all who had the privilege of serving alongside him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
