Can we get a round of applause for our newest Paramedic! This young lady has achieved a first attempt pass of her Paramedic State test and will be graduating this Saturday. Being considered member of Bladenboro EMS comes with requirements to be considered "active"/within good standing and these requirements became more stringent in January. Our member must work 5 shifts a month, attend 6 con ed sessions a year, attend 6 meetings a year, participate in at least 2 fundraising initiatives a year, as well as attend one deep clean session a year. We must take a moment to praise her on her perseverance, passion and dedication because while keeping an active membership status with our squad, working a full-time job with dispatch, and holding an assistant chief position with a neighboring squad she has not only managed to pass, but has excelled. We are proud to have her on our team and caring for our community. Congratulations Victoria, you earned this.
