Hey everyone it's Danielle Bickel-Henry... I originally posted this April 26th. I just tried editing and adding information at the bottom of the post and the entire thing got messed up, so I just copied the main parts and reposting.

This article, is one of the most informative things I've found on the true history of who everyone seems to think is "Sadie".

So below I say I saved original documents.. I had over 80 in my phone... Right after I posted this I was cooking dinner and looking at a slavery document that didn't come up on anything else... I sat the phone down and went back to the stove and it just flew across the counter and slammed on the floor flat and the screen went purple. It was a new phone!! NONE of those documents saved, absolutely nothing!! I've been feeling horrible since that happened (physically) and didn't start digging again. YET. (It's July 12th) (Everything else besides the next paragraph still fits).. I always want to go to the mountain, but there's a difference between that and what I've started feeling once again over the last week or so... Something, or someone is drawing me there. Whenever we get a chance, we're going!!

It gave me a real start at figuring out why I've been so drawn to this place. I've connected so many things and saved original documents on who I think has been sending me signs for SO long!
The true history of Cumberland County and Slavery is just.. Ugh to say the least, as it was with anywhere back then! But... I'm not going there.
There are so many legends it's hard to keep track of who said what. I believed in the Sadie story up until a week or so ago. Due to many losses in my family, I completely closed myself off and built up my walls, I wasn't open to receiving anything from anyone. Out of nowhere one day I just decided it was time. And as soon as I opened myself up again, I was immediately drawn to the cemetery.
We randomly decided to go up, I packed a bunch of stuff for "Sadie" and things to clean up around her site. We've built a routine over the years. Brian goes in the cemetery and takes care of them. I spend the entire time picking up glass, trash, leaves, twigs, and all sorts of things around her "Spot" Dumping out beer bottles, Fixing broken jewelry and toys and displaying them again. I don't take anything that for whatever reason was meant for her, home with me. The piece's of broken glass all over the ground get dropped off at a gas station trash lol. So yes you'll see in pictures that I did leave the beer bottle, but I cleaned it out, and put coins in it instead. *Trying* to give respect back to a place that shouldn't constantly be disturbed.
Once I get a chance to post those pictures (finally) I'll tell what happened that trip and a couple days later when we went back to check-in.
Brian and I also have our old photos to add.
I told him you can't just make a FB page about a place you visit. He just said, Why not?
I told him there's a million things posted about pioneer cemetery on Facebook. He said yes but is there an actual FB Page for it?
He had me there!
So, here we are... A clairvoyant and her husband (he also has "gifts" but he blocks them out) with family ties that go back further than he even realized!!
