Check out Fox 9 for a news segment that highlights Achieve and the trees we had planted last summer in honor of the Hortman family. The news segment will be aired on Fox 9 at one or a few of the following times:

Tonight (6/12) at 5 p.m. and/or 6 p.m. and/or
Sunday (6/14) at 6 p.m. and/or 9 p.m.

Today we participated in Pack at the Park. A group of us went to Target Field to volunteer packaging meals for Feed My Starving Children. This was their tenth annual Pack at the Park to package 1 million meals for children all around the world. Nicely done! 😊

We are deeply grateful to IDTS Medical for their generous donation of $1,345.67 to Achieve Services! This donation was made possible through the sales of their Shower Socks and other products through the month of April.

Our partnership with IDTS Medical goes beyond financial support. They also create valuable opportunities for the individuals we serve by employing our participants to package their Shower Socks. This collaboration fosters inclusion, purpose, and connection in our community.

Every dollar truly matters at Achieve. Donations like this help empower adults with disabilities to pursue their goals and live more independent lives. We are thankful for partners like IDTS Medical who invest in this work and help move our mission forward.

Today Achievers Lori and Ashley with the staff member, Julie, attended the pen pal breakfast hosted at Crooked Lake Elementary School in Andover, MN. For the past couple of months Lori and Ashley have been pen pals with students at the school. Lori and Ashley got to eat breakfast with their pen pals and play a silly game of "Would You Rather." It was especially sweet that the students made them paper flowers as a gift. Talk about a fun day! 😊

We've got an awesome lineup of June activities! Check out all the fun things happening this month:

- A button design contest where participants can design an Achieve Button. The Management Team will help narrow down their favorites and then participants will vote on their favorite button design. The winner will then have their design made into a new button for the Achieve company picnic in July!

- Art Group is designing sunglasses
- Food Group is making Apple Snicker Salad

Fun Fridays include:
- June 5th is a Dance Party with DJ Dr. Fun
- June 12th is Family Feud
- June 19th is Corey's Karaoke
- June 16th is Aladdin at 9:30 a.m.

We also have weekly garden club, Yahtzee!, Donje's Book Club, volunteering with Meals on Wheels in Anoka County, and more!

June is going to an especially fun month! 😀
