On Saturday evening over fifty members as well as other guests and community members gathered at Atkinson Farms for our Annual Officer Installation and Awards Banquet. Congratulations to all award recipients and officers. We would like to thank our members for their dedication to our community, and our community for their continued support!

FYI…There will be a county wide Burn Ban in place starting at 6:00 on November 30, 2021. The ban will remain in effect until the county received sufficient rainfall.

A HUGE shout out to the Blairs Fire Dept for doing their Haunted House! You guys are amazing! We had the best time ever! So much fun, volunteers are amazing, props and the entire experience was GREAT! Best yet that we have been too!
What I love about Halloween is the Haunted Houses. You guys took me right back to my high school days to where everyone went to all the local Fire Dept Haunted houses and you guys have bought that back! Thank you all so much for your hard work and effort, You're great! keep up the good work, Will def come back before the end of October 🙌🏼🎃💀👻🤡

If you love haunted houses at all, you gotta go to this one and support their fundraiser, it is so worth it, and to be honest, they are under charging for all their creativity, hard work and the experience. Best around!

We went to the original Hollywood horror show in snow camp, NC last weekend and it was horrible, they charged $25 for a 15 min experience that I laughed all the way through, lack of workers, we may have seen 5 people if that working it and nothing there to scare even a young person. And we drove an hour and left disappointed....

BLAIRS HAUNTED HOUSE

“GET YA CREEP ON”

Well today’s the big day, opening night of the Blairs Haunted House. This event has been scaring people for 30 plus years until last year the 2020 season due to COVID-19 and honestly I did not know if we would ever be able to have it again with the disease, after several meetings for safety concerns we decided to continue with the 2021 haunt season and boy am I glad we did. We were off to a slow start at first because I didn’t have the time to work on it until after the birth of my second Child Chase Daniel Fowler Leslie Hudson Fowler in mid September and I feared that I had not allowed myself enough time to complete the updates that I wanted to complete, but with hard work from a steady support system I can honestly say we did it, I have some of the best in the businesss, helping and folks them nor myself make a dime we do it for support to the Blairs Volunteer Fire and Rescue as well as scaring the HELL out of people. Some of the recent changes we have made include more advertisements, a RE-AMP of the line up including projectors that play Halloween movies, a on site DJ system, an upgrade of the food that we serve in the concession stand, TOP OF THE LINE PROPS, More experienced actors,a Hayride that goes through the SPOOK trail where we have experienced actors in costume that are willing to be shot by the laser guns that the customers on the hayride will have.

With that being said I hope everyone will realize that this is a fundraiser the same as any non profit organization as far stews or raffle tickets and all the money earned from the HAUNTED HOUSE goes towards any equipment we may need to perform day to day operations. We may not be as big as some of the other haunted attractions but the level of dedication and hard work that has been put into assuring that every customer will be entertained, scared, and excited will not disappoint.

So here is my challenge to each and every one of you that took the time to read my post please share it on social media, talk about it with your family and friends and come down and see us.

Again thank you for all your support. As far as my support team thank you for all your hard work and late nights. To my wife Leslie Fowler thank you for always being my biggest supporter and allowing me to continue doing a tradition that’s as old as I am.
