We’re excited to share that Sgt. Bee will be participating in the NJ Law Enforcement Torch Run on June 5th in support of Special Olympics New Jersey, and we’re looking for your help to make a difference.

The Torch Run is more than just a run—it’s a statewide effort by law enforcement to raise funds and awareness for the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey. Every donation, no matter the amount, goes directly toward supporting year-round sports training, competition, and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Retail trends indicate that more than a third of U.S. retail transactions now take place online. This eventually results in a lot of recyclable corrugated cardboard and paper packaging being generated each year.

Thankfully, recycling collection programs for these materials are available throughout New Jersey. According to the DEP's recycling statistics, over 1.5 million tons of recyclable corrugated cardboard and paper were recovered and recycled in New Jersey in 2022. While corrugated cardboard and paper recycling is clearly an environmental and economic success story, there is still more of this material that can be recovered from the waste stream.

Please check with your municipal or county recycling website or the Recycle Coach information system if you are uncertain about your local recycling program requirements. Learn more about recycling at recycle.nj.gov.
