There’s a lot starting to happen in Downtown Blairsville, and we wanted to take you along for a quick look & explanation on what to expect. 👷🏼‍♂️👷🏻‍♀️

Yes, there’s construction. Yes, things may start looking a little different for a while. But most importantly… DOWNTOWN WILL REMAIN OPEN! 🙌

Our local shops, restaurants and businesses will still be open, and they will need our support now more than ever. Don’t let a little construction keep you away...come downtown, follow the signs, find your favorite businesses and maybe discover a new one along the way!

These improvements are an investment in the future of our downtown, and we’re excited about what’s ahead. In the meantime, we hope you’ll help us show our downtown businesses some extra love. Follow our FB & IG pages for weekly updates!

The Heritage Festival is THIS WEEKEND!! This fun festival is organized by The Union County Historical Society.

Blairsville, GA (Just off the Downtown Square!)

This wonderful annual tradition will feature gold panning, woodworking, blacksmithing and other demonstrations, along with a variety of local vendors and food trucks. Please come out and enjoy a weekend celebrating our area’s history and heritage and support The Historical Society.

Downtown Businesses will be open during the festival, so please stop in and support our local merchants & restaurants while you are in town.🩵We are happy to be a sponsor & supporter for this event.

🎨 LAST CALL FOR LOCAL ARTISTS! 🎨

Downtown Blairsville, GA is looking for talented artists to participate in our 1st Annual Downtown Art Crawl that will happen on Friday, September 25th, from 3:00–7:00 PM! Deadline to sign up is this weekend... September 6th.

We would especially love to feature artists who can demonstrate their art/craft live during the event. Examples: canvas painting, crocheting, hat burning, wood carving, pottery, jewelry making & more! Hand-Made art only. Open to all local artist.

Experience ART in the heart of Downtown Blairsville! Friday, September 25th (3-7PM)

The Downtown Blairsville Art Crawl will showcase talented artists in & outside of Downtown shops, restaurants, and businesses throughout our beautiful downtown. This FREE, self-guided event is a wonderful way to explore downtown, support local businesses, meet/support local and regional artists, and enjoy an afternoon in Blairsville.

Start the Art Crawl at any participating location and make your way through downtown at your own pace. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to:

🎨 Meet the artists and learn more about their work
🖌️ Enjoy live art demonstrations at select locations
🫟Free kids craft booth & sidewalk chalk station
🛍️ Browse and shop their unique artwork
⏰Shop late at participating merchant stores
🎶 Enjoy live music on the square with Chris Glover Acoustic
🍽️ Grab dinner, drinks, or a sweet treat at one of our local restaurants and eateries

👀 Look for the Art Crawl balloon markers identifying participating businesses on 9/25. A flyer listing participating locations and artists will also be available throughout all downtown businesses.
