Housekeeper Position
As a Housekeeper, you'll be the guardian of cleanliness in our cottages and facilities. From making beds to vacuuming and maintaining pristine bathrooms, you'll ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Join us and start your journey at $13 per hour, with the possibility of a performance-based rate increase every 6 months.
Work Schedule
All positions are part-time, with a flexible up to 29-hour work week.

💪 It takes a village to build better fishing! 🎣

Last week, several Georgia Department of Natural Resources crews and the Friends of Vogel State Park rolled up their sleeves for a muddy job that will benefit Lake Trahlyta for years to come.

Together, they assembled and installed new fish habitat structures throughout the lake bed. These habitats will provide shelter for small fish, attract larger game fish, and help create a healthier, more productive fishery once the lake is refilled.

While they were out there, the crew also tackled another important project—cleaning up the lake bottom and removing the old tractor tires that had previously been used as fish habitat. It was dirty, messy work, and let’s just say… some wore a lot more mud than others! 😄

A huge thank you to everyone who spent the day working in the rain and the mud to improve the future of our lake. Special thanks to the Vogel Volunteers for providing lunch to keep everyone fueled for the day’s hard work.

Projects like this don’t happen without dedicated partners and volunteers. Because of their efforts today, anglers and visitors will enjoy a healthier Lake Trahlyta for many years to come.
