🌟 A Visit Full of Learning & Fun! 🚑

We had a great time welcoming the Girl Scouts to McClain-Grady County EMS! We loved having them stop by the station and giving them a hands-on look at what we do every day.

The girls got to explore the ambulance, learn about our equipment, and get an introduction to basic first aid. Most importantly, we hope they left with a better understanding of what EMS does and knowing that their local first responders are always here to help. ❤️

A huge thank you to the Girl Scouts for delicious cookie donations too! We enjoyed having you visit, and we hope you had as much fun as we did! 👩‍🚒🚑

Supporting Our Own: CISM Training

We are proud to recognize our very own JenaLu Simpson and the City of Newcastle’s Communications Supervisor Melanie Lierle for completing a two-day Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) course offered through the Oklahoma First Responder Wellness Division.

CISM is a structured peer-support approach designed to prepare first responders and those who support them to assist individuals and teams following critical incidents. The training provides practical skills in crisis communication, individual and group interventions, resilience, and recognizing when additional support or referrals may be needed.

We are especially proud to share that McClain-Grady County EMS now has five medics with CISM training! 🚑

Our crews and communications teams are there for our communities during some of their most difficult moments, and it’s just as important that we are there for each other. Taking care of our first responders and support personnel means building a stronger, healthier, and more resilient public safety family.

Day 2 of fire operations has once again shown what an incredible community we have. 🚑🚒🚔

McClain-Grady County EMS has been providing firefighter rehab for the many agencies working tirelessly to protect our communities. We truly cannot thank everyone enough for the overwhelming support you’ve shown.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated water, Gatorade, popsicles, snacks, ice, and ice chests to help keep our firefighters and first responders hydrated and fueled during these long, hot days. A special thank you to Sonic for providing hamburgers to help feed our crews.

We are also incredibly grateful to the citizens who have opened their homes, offering a place for responders to cool down and even allowing us to store ice in their freezers so it wouldn’t melt. Your kindness and generosity have made a tremendous difference.

This is what community is all about—neighbors helping neighbors and standing behind those who serve. Together, we are stronger.

🚒 Another busy fire day for our crews! 🚑

Today, McClain-Grady County EMS was on standby in Newcastle, providing firefighter rehab to help keep our fire crews safe. Our team supplied water and Gatorade to ensure firefighters stayed hydrated while battling fire in the intense Oklahoma heat.

We were proud to support the dedicated men and women of the Newcastle, Blanchard, and Bridge Creek Fire Departments. Their commitment, teamwork, and determination are what keep our communities safe.

When emergencies happen, it takes all of us working together. Firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement each have a role, and we’re proud to stand alongside our firefighters by helping care for those who are out protecting others.

Thank you to citizens that donated water, Gatorade and snacks for use to hand out. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and remember—we’re stronger when we work together.

Today, McClain-Grady County EMS responded alongside the Newcastle, Blanchard, and Goldsby Fire Departments to a residential structure fire. As firefighters worked tirelessly to protect lives and property, our EMS crews were proud to provide firefighter rehab—ensuring those on the front lines stayed hydrated and medically monitored.

We are more than just neighboring agencies—we’re one team. We train together, respond together, and most importantly, we take care of each other. 🚒🚑

🎉 Congratulations to our very own Max RineHart II on his graduation from Paramedic School with a 4.0 GPA and earning his Associate’s Degree! 🚑

Over the past year, Max has dedicated countless hours to advancing his knowledge and skills in emergency medicine. From mastering cardiology and pharmacology to advanced airway management and many other critical aspects of patient care, he has worked tirelessly to reach this milestone.

In addition to the classroom, Max completed more than 400 hours of clinical and field training, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while caring for patients under the guidance of experienced paramedics and healthcare professionals.

We are incredibly proud of Max’s hard work, determination, and commitment to serving our communities. Please join all of us at McClain-Grady County EMS in congratulating him on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to watching him continue to grow and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
