Kids (and parents) learned what to do if the smoke alarm goes off while sleeping and the importance of touching the bedroom door instead of opening it right away. They also got to meet a firefighter in full fire gear.

This station included homework - to talk with their family about creating a meeting place in case of a fire.

Huge THANK YOU to all the kids who joined us for Fire Camp! It was a great morning spent having fun and learning about safety.

We also want to thank Blanchardville EMS, Blanchardville Police, Mt Horeb Fire Department, Alliant Energy, and all our local volunteers.
