On April 28, 2026, the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary at the Half “Assed” Bar in Bland, Missouri.
Upon arrival, deputies determined the business safe had been accessed, a cash-to-coin exchange machine had been stolen, and an unspecified amount of cash and coins had been taken from the business.
Through the investigation, which included review of surveillance videos from the business and nearby security cameras, and witness statements, deputies identified possible suspects connected to the burglary.
On May 1, 2026, deputies executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Bem Church Road, near Owensville. During the search, deputies located and seized evidence connected to the burglary. One female suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Franklin County Adult Detention Center, pending formal charges.
On May 2, 2026, Associate Circuit Judge Ada Brehe-Krueger issued a $15,000 surety bond for Shayla M. Harmon, of Owensville, Missouri, on the following charges:
• Burglary – 2nd Degree
• Stealing – $750 or More
Judge Brehe-Krueger also issued a $10,000 surety bond for Danielle A. (Strobel) Henderson, of Gerald, Missouri, on the following charge:
• Stealing – $750 or More
On May 3, 2026, deputies located Henderson at the Rosebud General Store, where she was taken into custody. Henderson was transported to the Osage County Adult Detention Center on her warrant and additional pending charges for possession of a controlled substance.
On May 4, 2026, the stolen cash-to-coin exchange machine was recovered.
